The charity and not for profit team within AshtonPenney is lead by Bill Penney: eminently suited to the role, he has been a CofE clergyman for 40 years, is a Sloan Fellow of the London Business School and has himself been chief executive of a charity.
In his voluntary work with the Worshipful Company of Management Consultants, he administers their scheme that currently provides mentors for some 70 small charities. Married to a headmistress, he also has an excellent understanding of the world of education.
Bill has been a provider of interim management services since 1989 and has been deeply involved in setting and maintaining the highest professional standards for the industry. A past chairman of the Interim Management Association, he was involved in its formation as ATIES in the early '90's. He founded AshtonPenney in 1994 and led the launch of the professional body, the Institute of Interim Management, at the turn of the millennium.
